Preventive Care

We take preventive care services very seriously.

Your preventive care service begins with a comprehensive oral exam, which includes a panoramic x-ray, oral cancer screening, a jawbone, muscle, and bite evaluation, a TMJ joint exam, and a periodontal (gum) disease evaluation. The periodontal evaluation will determine what type cleaning is needed based on the health of your gums. Healthy gums are the foundation of achieving optimal oral health. We’ll also ask you about your medical history, take your blood pressure and test you for diabetes if indicated.
